¹⁶ But now you are ·proud [arrogant; ^Cprobably referring to their plans for the future] and you brag [boast]. All of this bragging [boasting] is wrong [^Levil; wicked; 3:14]. ¹⁷ [^LTherefore] Anyone who knows the right thing to do, but does not do it, ·is sinning [^Lfor him it is sin].
